Volume 1 Issue 7

Hello everyone

I hope the thought of Christmas and all the madness that comes with it is not too daunting a thought!!!! I try to get myself organized well before the Christmas rush sets in, then I don't have to venture into Exeter too often, thus avoiding all the crowds!!

That is the thing I love about being out in South Dakota, the total lack of crowds!! It is such a huge area of hills and Buttes that all you can hear is SILENCE!!!! Total bliss for me, you can really feel part of nature out there, something I dream about, and the thought of not being able to go back there until next year due to the extremes of weather in the winter, is really heartbreaking for me. It seems such a long time away, but I get to talk with the people out there on a regular basis, and that's keeps me sane believe me!!!

I am definitely going back towards the end of march next year. I have airmiles to use which expire at the end of 2004, so will be using them for that trip. I tried to get a flight using them for next June, but no chance when it is "In season", you have to book a flight nearly a year in advance and even September was all booked up.Apparently there are only 30 seats per flight allocated for airmile tickets, so seats are like gold dust!!!!!

I have to inform everyone of a change of address and phone for me soon, but I am having my mail redirected for up to 3 months, so don't worry if anyone corresponds or sends a donation using the old address, mail will get to me ok? I will be asking my wonderful webmaster Simon, to alter all details on the website too, so no real problem there.

I may end up offline for a short time , but not for long hopefully, so pass the word around will you please and thanks.

Thanks for all your support, and again I cannot stress enough the importance of donations for Propane Fuel for the Lakota people. It is very cold out there now, and although the first batch of snow has gone, more will arrive in due course!!

Take care everyone, will hopefully post a Christmas newsletter soon.
