Hi Again Everyone I am putting out this newsletter to run along with the very recent one appealing for donations for the propane fund. I am in constant contact with the Reservation and have just received word that temperatures have plummeted to –25 degrees , and the wind chill factor is bringing the temperature down to –45 degrees!!!! People are being told to stay indoors and not go outside, skin can freeze in 10 minutes at these temperatures, and I am getting requests for propane from desperate people that are running out of fuel rapidly, or that have run out. I have one Elderly lady looking after grandchildren, Martha American Horse and she cannot get any help . She is out of fuel , and as my good contact  told me, ‘We will just have to pray for them that they make it through the night!’ I was also told of an Elderly lady, Irene Bores a Hole, that was found dead in her bed a few days ago, from hypothermia. This is just awful, and I feel so helpless all the way over here knowing that people are in desperate trouble on the reservation. I am appealing again for donations for propane Please spread the word and let the world know that people are dying from the cold on the reservation. Forgotten, neglected people, totally blanketed from the public eye by the US government!! This has got to stop and these people recognized in the world as human beings that need help, the same as other worthy causes all over the world. I have 7 Elderly people and their families urgently needing propane right now . These are the ones put forward to me right now, so how many other Elders are out there that I have not heard about yet !!! Please, please help if you can and again, please spread the word. The poor souls in Indonesia are getting lots of help, and thank goodness they are! SO WHY ARE THE NATIVE AMERICANS NOT BEING HELPED!!! Thought for the day folks!!
